all are well within driving distance of each other, offering splendid
scenery and views of lakeland fells, mountains, lakes, rivers and
tarns. Many of which have excellent accommodation available wether
you are an avid walker/hiker or just here to see the beautiful scenerey,
for mountain bikers many of them offer safe storage for your bikes.

Ulverston
Description: Ulverston, in the South of the Lake District, is
a stunning market town and in the 13th century was granted a market charter.
The centre of
Ulverston is marked by a big stone cross and is the perfect place to take in the charms of Market
Street.
Attractions in Ulverston include the Stan Laurel Museum, the Hoad Monument and
Conishead Priory, which is the Buddhist monastery.
