Ousby
Description: Ousby, in the northern Cumbria, is situated at the
bottom of Cross fell and Melmerby Fell, close to Penrith and south of Carlisle. This dispersed
village got its name from the Norse settler, Ulfsby, who set up his home here.
Ousby is a
laid back village and is the perfect destination for visitors looking to relax and sample
Lakeland life at its best, while discovering the beauty of the Lake District.
