all are well within driving distance of each other, offering splendid
scenery and views of lakeland fells, mountains, lakes, rivers and
tarns. Many of which have excellent accommodation available wether
you are an avid walker/hiker or just here to see the beautiful scenerey,
for mountain bikers many of them offer safe storage for your bikes.

Millom
Description: Millom, north of Barrow-in-Furness, is situated on
the west coast of the Lake District.
The town began developing in the 19th century once
iron ore mining and steel working became the chief industry of the area.
These days the
town is quiet and provides visitors with a relaxed time discovering the Lake District and all its
beauty. Millom provides visitors with a selection of accommodations, which includes a couple
hotels and a few guest houses.
