Lamplugh
Description: Lamplugh is situated close to Ernnerdale Water
and Loweswater on the western edge of the Lake District National Park, off the A5086. The main
attraction of the village is the Church of St Michael, with aging gargoyles adding to its
popularity.
Lamplugh is renowned for Lamplugh Pudding, a secret mix of hot ale oats
biscuits and raisins. This relaxed village is the perfect destination for laid back Lakeland
holiday and is great starting point to explore the surrounding Lake District National Park.
