Grange-over-Sands
Description: Grange over Sands is a Victorian town
found on the shores of Morecambe Bay. One of the main attractions of this pleasant coastal
holiday resort is its ornamental gardens, which are among the best in the northwest of England.
From 1857, after the arrival of the railways, Grange-over-Sands started to grow and today
provides visitors with a range of activities, including golf courses, tennis courts and an
open-air swimming pool. The local bandstand and long promenade are another two attractions the
town has to offer.
