Flookburgh
Description: Flookburgh is situated on the coastline of
Morecambe Bay and gets its name from the flat fish local fishermen catch. The village is found on
the southern most tip of the Lake District.
In 1278 Edward I gave Flookburgh a royal
charter and the village has held a charter festival every year in June ever since.
