Derwent Island
Description: Derwent Island is located on Derwent Water
in what is the most beautiful part of the Lake District. Derwent Island was named by the
Fountains Abbey of Yorkshire and is one of the biggest islands on Derwent Water.
The
island offers breathtaking views of Causey Pike and Derwent Fells, which are a short distance
away.
The stunning scenery and relaxed atmosphere of Derwent Island make it an excellent
destination for a relaxing day trip.
