Dalton-in-Furness
Description: Dalton was once the capital of Furness,
with a long history and proud tradition, and is one of the most beautiful of all Lakeland
villages.
Attractions found in Dalton-in-Furness include St. Marys church the Medieval
Dalton Castle dating back to the 14th century and the resting place of the famous Dalton born
Lakes artist, George Romney.
