scenery and views of lakeland fells, mountains, lakes, rivers and

you are an avid walker/hiker or just here to see the beautiful scenerey,
for mountain bikers many of them offer safe storage for your bikes.

Cartmel
Description: Cartmel is an unspoilt village found in Morecambe
Bay. For those who wish to have a slightly laid back holiday, the relaxed village of Cartmel is
the perfect choice.
The charming village square is surrounded by charismatic houses, shops
and B&Bs. The main attraction in the village is Cartmel Priory, which is an Augustinian House
that dates back to 1190, and was a spiritual focus for the area.
Near by is the Cartmel
Racecourse which offers the smallest National Hunt racecourse in England.
