Borrowdale
Description: Borrowdale one of the main settlements in the
Borrowdale valley and is situated south of Rosthwaite. Borrowdale is a very popular destination
with tourists to the Lake District due to its breathtaking scenery.
The beautiful
landscape of the Borrowdale valley makes it a popular destination for walkers. The area’s main
attraction is Bowder Stone, the famous gigantic boulder. Borrowdale’s rich history and tradition
of the cotton and flax mills is another of the town’s attractions
