plenty of towns and villages dotted all over the Lake District,
all are well within driving distance of each other, offering splendid
scenery and views of lakeland fells, mountains, lakes, rivers and
tarns. Many of which have excellent accommodation available wether
you are an avid walker/hiker or just here to see the beautiful scenerey,
for mountain bikers many of them offer safe storage for your bikes.

Arnside
Description: Arnside is situated in a designated Area of
Outstanding Natural Beauty on the southern tip of the Lake District. The town was once a fishing
port and has kept a number of its original features, reminding visitors of the town’s
history.
To the south of Arnside there are 15th century Pele towers, built to defend the
town from the marauding Scots. Other attractions in Arnside include the Arnside Knott and Arnside
Tower. Guided walks across Morecambe Bay are also on offer.
