Allithwaite
Description: This beautiful untouched little village is
found west of Grange-over-Sands and north of Kent. One of the village’s top attractions is the
remains of the old Wraysholme Tower. The highest limestone cliff in the county, Humphry Head, is
found near the village; an 18th century holy well is found on top of the cliff.
