Blencathra
Description:
Blencathra is found close to the Skiddaw Forest in the north of the Lake District and overlooks the River Greta. The mountains peak is 868 metres above sea level and is one of the most well-known of all the peaks in the Lake District. It is very popular with climbers from all over the world who want to explore the various routes to the summit.
