The Church House Inn, 15th century Inn, in the quiet village of Torver. We are in the shadow of Coniston Old Man, one of the Lakes' most iconic peaks. We offer a truly rustic retreat away from the busy life of the city. The Inn boasts a wealth of charm and still maintains many of its original features. Its character and age is shown throughout, with low ceilings, wooden panelling, beams, slate floors, log burning fires and, being the age that it is, possibly a ghost or two!!
We are a Caravan Club member and offer hard standing for up to five caravans, all with Electric Hook Up's available. Our Pub is generally open from 9am - midnight where there are food, drink and toilet facilities, also if you require a packed lunch for the day, please ask.
