Burns Farm Caravan Park and Camp Site near Keswick Cumbria in the North Lakes. A family run site with modern facilities in a quiet location midst the heart of Lakeland, paramount in Lake District camping. From your pitch, you will get spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. We are within easy reach of Scafell Pike and Catbells and many more mountain and fells. From within 3 miles are the near-by Lakes, waters, meres, and tarns of Derwentwater, Bassenthwaite, Thirlmere, Rydal, Ullswater, and Windermere. "Tewet tarn" is practically on our doorstep. The majestic Lakeland scenery of Thrilkeld, Keswick, Bassenthwaite, Braithwaite, and Borrowdale within 5 miles
It's just 1 mile walk to the nearest eating places in the delightful Village of Threlkeld. There are 3 pubs which serve food and a golf course and cricket field both with club houses. Threlkeld has a Quarry & Mining Museum just a nice walk from the site.
