Description: Grizebeck, which is located between the market town of Ulverston and Broughton in Furness in the Lake District National Park, can be reached from junction 36 on the M6 motorway following the signs for South Lakes and Furness. After approximately two miles take the first left towards Barrow in Furness on the A590. Continue on the A590 for approximately fifteen miles and at Greenodd turn right onto the A5092 towards Broughton, continue on the A5092 for approximately five miles, or alternatively by bus. Foxfield, which is only approximately 1.8 miles from Grizebeck, is the nearest railway station.
Grizebeck, which is a quiet and an unspoilt hamlet, is the ideal location from which to explore the rest of South Cumbria and the Lakes with Coniston being only a twenty minute drive away, Windermere twenty five minutes away and Ulverston being only a short drive away. This is also the ideal location from which to view the scenic panoramic views of the Duddon Estuary, Furness Fells and the Coniston mountains.
