Thornfield House bed and breakfast guest accommodation offers a relaxed and welcoming environment in the Edwardian seaside town of Grange over Sands in Cumbria, UK. Located only a few minutes level walk from the centre of Grange over Sands we are the ideal place from which to explore the specialist shops, restaurants and cafes that are on offer.
Our six guest bedrooms are all ensuite, freshly decorated and comfortably furnished. Widescreen televisions and dvd players are available as standard. We have a combination of double, twin, single and premium/family rooms available. Our single rooms have the benefit of not incurring a single supplement charge.
There are many options for exploring the lakes, tarns and mountains that make up the Lake District National Park. Whether by car, boat, steam train, hiking, cycling or a combination there is always something to explore. Close to home there is Hampsfell where the Hospice, built in 1846, offers shelter and panoramic views, a mile long promenade with teashop and a wealth of individual shops and coffee shops to explore.
