Murthwaite Lodges are located in Longsleddale which is one of the of the loveliest and most unspoiled scenic valleys in the Lake District. This Lakeland Valley, which runs off the A6 road to the North of Kendal, is a country lover's paradise. The lush green, flower filled meadows are divided by the sparkling waters of the River Sprint, from where the pasture land rises up to the towering Cumbrian Fells.
The lodges are each set in their own gardens with patio, garden furniture and barbecue. Both lodges enjoy beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.
Each lodge will sleep up to four people in one double bedroom and one twin bedroom. The bathroom is full size with a shower over the bath.
There is an open plan lounge / dining area with television, video, fireplace and coal effect fire, ideal for relaxing on those cooler Lakeland evenings. The fitted kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and microwave.
French doors open out on to decking. The lodges have central heating enabling them to be occupied throughout the year. Full bedding is provided, but not towels. Private spring water supply with UV treatment.
