Low Jock Scar which is located in an idyllic riverside setting surrounded by six acres of beautiful garden and woodland. A very popular venue for groups and can accommodate 8 people in the Guesthouse with the addition of a self catering cottage in the grounds.
There is a beautiful comfortable guest lounge and a variety of seating areas around the garden enjoyed by many. Ample secluded off road parking is available for all our guests.
Delicious breakfasts and evening meals (by arrangement) are served in the sun room with beautiful views. The guest house has a residential license and stocks a range of wines, beers, spirits and soft drinks. There is a large comfortable sitting room.
We have four double/twin bedrooms, all of which have fabulous views of the garden. All the bedrooms are en-suite with one being on the ground floor.
Each bedroom is bright, airy and comfortable having it's own character and unique views of the river, gardens, bridges and surrounding Cumbrian hills.
The beds are comfortable with good support, medium softness matresses. They have beautiful soft bedlinen, down duvets, with summer weight duvets, blankets and hot water bottles in the cupboard to adjust to your individual comfort
They are all thoughtfully furnished with tea trays and hairdryers, with many more facilities designed to ensure your stay is pleasurable and comfortable.
