Ann & George welcome you to Hillsdale, our family-run bed & breakfast. Hillsdale is a traditional Lakeland slate building situated in a quiet location in the heart of picturesque Ambleside. We are just a minute's walk from the town's many restaurants, pubs and shops.
Quality and comfort are assured at Hillsdale Guest House and our 4 stars inspection rating awarded by the English Tourism Council reflects our levels of service and quality. All of our rooms have recently been modernised.
Hillsdale is fully centrally heated, all rooms have recently been modernised and we can offer eight fully en-suite guest bedrooms.
We have flexible accommodation to cater for doubles, twins, families and singles. All rooms have remote control colour TV's, hairdryer and radio alarm.
There is always constant and plentiful hot water, for that soothing shower after a long day out!
In all rooms you can make a brew from our complimentary tray including choccy biccies and relax watching TV before stepping out for an evening's entertainment. We have ironing facilities, secure bike storage and somewhere to dry your wet gear.
