Graeme and Sara offer you a warm and friendly welcome to the Headlands guest house, a traditional Victorian stone building situated on the south side of Kendal town centre close to the River Kent. Only a few minutes walk from the centre of town, all local amenities are within easy reach including shops, restaurants, pubs, the leisure centre, Abbot Hall museum and Art Gallery and the Brewery Arts Centre.
We offer a relaxed atmosphere and our aim is to provide comfort and quality at a reasonable price.
The Headlands guest house is centrally heated throughout with attractive decor, attention to detail and a charm that comes with buildings of this generation. We have worked with the styling from the late 1800’s to create an environment that blends the old with the new.
We offer twin, double, triple and family rooms, en-suite and all with TV, beverage-making facilities, a hairdryer and high standards. A good sleep is important and many of our guests have commented on the quality of our beds. Super-King-Size beds are available in some rooms. Wireless internet is also available to guests with their own laptop.
Breakfast is taken in the bright dining room and offers a good choice from a full and hearty British breakfast to lighter options such as cereals, toast and fruit. If you have any special dietary needs, please just let us know. We use quality produce which is sourced locally wherever possible and we offer homemade bread and preserves. Packed lunches are also available on request.
